Notwithstanding the difficulties of the past year, Fonderia Morini kept investing in a constant technological innovation and staff training, two factors which have always been the key to our success. Therefore, after reorganizing the production areas to implement strict health protocols, we have completed the rearrangement of the Pattern department, which has been relocated inside the facilities acquired just before the lock-down. Later, we inaugurated the robotic deburring station, and at the same time tuned up our computer systems and carried out a whole series of micro-activities aimed at optimizing internal workflows and reducing waste.

In light of the expansion of the customer base and the confirmation of high-value orders, acquired by competitors who have not withstood the impact of the crisis, Fonderia Morini closed the year 2020 with a positive outcome despite all the difficulties it brought along. Above all, hardships have taught us to react rapidly to the unexpected and the unpredictable. Our reaction to Covid-19 has made us stronger, both personally and economically. We are proud to have been able to face it together with our workers.

2021 started positively, even better than our forecasts: numerous interesting productions are already underway, others are in an advanced stage of definition. All this, combined with the planned vaccination campaign that is proceeding at a global scale, allow Fonderia Morini and its customers to look to the coming months with renewed optimism from the point of view of economic trends.
